The benchmarks are taking longer than 30 seconds to start up Chrome. This could be a sign that the large profile is working very well on slow machines! There are high crash rates caused by invalid ScriptContexts and it's unclear which of these patches is causing them - potentially all of them. Reverting all to be safe, and because they stomped on each other and can't be reverted separately. Revert "Move Extension ScriptContext creation into ScriptContextSet." This reverts commit 745b6623. Revert "[Extensions] extension sendMessage respect to ActiveDOMObject policy" This reverts commit 441ece58. Revert "Add back the call to extensions::ScriptContext::DispatchOnUnloadEvent." This reverts commit 0eda971a. Revert "[Extensions] Fix crash in ScriptContextSet" This reverts commit a08a3109. This is a plumbing CL to create a ui::PaintContext that wraps a gfx::Canvas up in ui::Layer. This is passed to every LayerDelegate, and also through to aura::WindowDelegates and views::NativeWidgetDelegates to eventually reach views::View as well. This way ui::PaintContext is created in one place (for compositor paints, there are other places painting to bitmaps we'll address later). And in the future the ui::PaintContext can be backed by a display list instead of a canvas. HttpStreamFactoryImpl::GetAlternativeServiceRequestFor(). Remove the "original_url" param from HttpStreamFactoryImpl::Job::MarkAsAlternate() Remove the original_url_ member from HttpStreamFactoryImpl::Job and instead change origin_url_ to always be the actual URL to request. Add a new alternative_service_url_ to store the "modified" URL which is to be used for consulting socket pools and resolving proxies. This is a minor refactoring of Directory that eliminates non-test friends and provides access to Directory's kernel using public accessor methods. Make Directory::Close private as it's automatically called from the dtor. Make Directory::Kernel public instead of having Directory be-friend several classes. Make Directory::Kernel::mutex mutable to eliminate the need for a const_cast in ScopedKernelLock. Make OnDiskDirectoryBackingStore::TryLoad private. LocationBarView::PaintChildren does a Save/Restore around calling Paint on another View. But View::Paint() is non-virtual and already does a save/restore around any work that it does (eg around OnPaint()). So this is redundant work. We are using MediaDrm API on Android and we cannot guarantee that API doesn't use persistent storage on the device. Therefore always set persistent state to EME_FEATURE_ALWAYS_ENABLED to err on the safe side. Also change NOTREACHED() in MediaPlayerAndroid::SetCdm() to LOG(ERROR) because it's actually reachable if we use SRC + EME. With large enough tiles we can get visible checkerboards if the buffer we use for invalidation frequency is too small. Note that this fix is a work around to make this case less likely to hit. This is to start gathering better metrics on which servers require RC4. Many servers which prefer RC4 will still accept another cipher suite. Moving it behind a fallback will make our cipher suite metrics reflect roughly servers which require it and not only those which prefer it. Note that this sort of fallback provides NO security benefit. If a server prefers a non-RC4 cipher, they already securely negotiate it whether or not the client offers RC4. If a server prefers RC4, this kind of fallback does nothing to prevent an attacker from switching the connection to RC4. This is purely for measurement.
