Before this CL we would only disable prompt() if the user installs the site via the menu or the web app banner. This updates the web app omnibox install button to also disable prompt() from being called. Without disabling prompt() the site can re-prompt the user to install which results in the browser crashing. Note: This CL is a "quick fix" to resolve the browser crash in a mergeable CL. A set of follow up CLs will change AppBannerManager to listen to web app install events and clear the prompt() handle that way instead. Currently, when window.open() targets a frame in the current page, we focus that iframe. No other method of targeting a frame by name (i.e., link click or form submission with a target attribute) has this behavior. It's unclear why window.open() gets this special treatment, so try to standardize behavior across navigation types. Refactors code and tests to handle a new type of request. The new code does not assume that all requests use the same proto for both request and response. The main refactoring involves: - separating the configuration of network requests from their handling in DeviceManagementService (DMS) - clients now implement the JobConfiguration class to specific parameters for network requests - DMS uses the JobControl interface to control the running of the request and handle retries as needed - clients hold on to a Job interface as a handle to the request and can use this handle to cancel the job - the main class to handle the running of requests is moved the to the inner class DeviceManagementService::JobImpl as it is owned by DMS - job are created and started with the CreateJob() call instead of being created only with the first and then having to call a second method to start them Change-Id: Ic04a5577ae1cce086f045bb6aacdf36750270e21 Bug: 953695, 953696 Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1614059 Commit-Queue: Roger Tawa <rogerta@chromium.org> Reviewed-by:

This CL restricts the (still experimental) targetText= fragment feature to only the top level frame in the main window. This explicitly disallows iframes or |window| objects with an opener. The reason we do this is there may be ways a frame can tell that a cross-origin child has scrolled. If they can do that reliably, they could use targetText to exfiltrate arbitrary text from the cross origin document. We also restrict it to full (non-same-document) navigations for the same reason. The tab helper unconditionally removes the infobar, then asks the infobar to remove itself. This is clearly broken. Eliminate the manual removal, and let the infobar just remove itself. This also cleans up a bunch of other code in the area.
