Run TB in safe mode (hold Shift when you launch TB) and see if it makes any difference. Note also that when you click Get Messages, only the currently selected account is checked; click the drop-down to check a specific account or Get All New Messages (Shift+F5). The setting isn't present for folders that are automatically checked, such as Inbox. See the attached picture for the Properties window for a user-created folder. If these methods do not work, then contact the support team of your email provider. So, here are the solutions you solve the problem of the IMAP folder not syncing.

Why IMAP Folder is Not Properly Syncing?

I work in a small company and for the past 2 weeks we've been having issues with customer support Outlook account. The account is used as IMAP in all customer support clients, every time you set up the mail in anyones computer Outlook Not Sending or Receiving Email it just sync 30-50GB ost files... And because of the size, this is making the mail simply stop working after one day of normal use, forcing the users to end outlook process to make the mail sync again properly... But only when you close/open the mail again.

Microsoft Outlook is terrible in IMAP. Hence most people only use MAPI with it. If you are forced to use IMAP, I would recommend switching to an alternative E-Mail client like Thunderbird Thunderbird — Free Your Inbox.

But many users run into the problem where their important IMAP folders are not syncing or stop updating.It's not until I click on that folder I will then see the 10 and 3 and two second later it will sync and new ones will populate.I am using TB for just three weeks now and I have issues daily when sending mail with no attachments the outgoing mail server will time out.Make a note of the values and delete an overwrite them also check your passwords for both SMTP and IMAP.I checked all 5 of the tabs in this window that expressions is not there.

My accounts in Mail app stopped to sync post update

The problem is that the some changes are not reflected in the Gmail web app. By credential loop in Microsoft 365 web app, I mean webmail accessed via Firefox or Chrome for (say) Windows 10, not smartphone app. To set up a mail account, we can set the same standard name "mail.mydomain.com" as the incoming and outgoing mail server. My comment about 3rd party email -- is a 3rd email app called Email - Edison Mail (from the App Store) I set up my mail accounts in the app and everything works as it should. I’ve tried repairing the data file, removing and re-adding the account, rebooting, re-installing Outlook/Office, running SFC/DISM, all to no avail.

Wonder if the vpn is causing an issue. Perhaps something in TB needs to be tweaked. I have no firewall monitors running during the day that would interfere just the vpn. I have several email accounts / IMAP set-up. So looking at my tree of email accounts one inbox might have 10 mail total and 3 unread form earlier.
