Reland: Prepare explore_sites unittests in for imminent switching on of HistoryServiceUsesTaskScheduler. This includes a fix to avoid linking errors in gcc_solink since it needs class constants of which you take the address to have a location defined. This will make HistoryServiceBackend's task runner > dispatch to the ThreadPool instead of a dedicated base::Thread. The tests need to be > prepared to stay functional when that happens. > > This is done as the last mile of the chrome-wide effort to coalesce as much work as possible > to the ThreadPool. > > Bug: 661143 > Change-Id: I7e08e21c212c2852891d30d0db70b946d932dd4d > Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1865595 > Reviewed-by: Justin DeWitt <dewittj@chromium.org> > Commit-Queue: Oliver Li <olivierli@chromium.org> > Cr-Commit-Position: refs/heads/master@{#707832} Change-Id: Ia30b8bbb89613962206a19f0b474192c3748f0a2 Reviewed-on: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1873353Reviewed-by:

Previously the files generated by chrome://net-export/ were setting permission to 777 (a+rwx), whereas after this change they are 600 (u+rw). It is unclear why the code was setting all the bits explicitly - that policy goes back to the initial commit (https://chromiumcodereview.appspot.com/11828036/). These libraries are not available in gLinux. Trying to run msan binaries will result in dynamic linker errors since eg. libjpeg.so.8 doesn't exist (it has a more up-to-date libjpeg.so.62 instead). With the new instrumented libraries, chrome dynamically links. However there are several more steps outlined in bug 1017974 that are necessary to get it into a more usable state. With these additional modifications, msan/chrome runs on gLinux without issue. Top-controls scrolling was missing a couple of key things: . when the top-controls are completely visible (and no gesture/scroll is underway), the height of the Webcontents should shrink. . DoBrowserControlsShrinkRendererSize() should not change value while a gesture/scroll is underway (otherwise the scrollbar bounces around). The logic added should match that of Chrome. This expands the DrawQuad materials that can be drawn directly in place of a RenderPass to include video stream and YUV video quads (since these are simple image draws), and unsupported quad types (since they are mapped to solid color draws). This change allows responses to extension-initiated requests to always accept SameSite cookies. This is accomplished by looking at the request's |accept_same_site_cookies| parameter, and if it is true, accept any SameSite cookies from the response. Also make it modifiable at runtime. GroupPolicy effectively doesn't support system policies on ChromeOS, nor does it have much support for static policies. Also move the feature over to services/network, so it can be enabled on all NetworkContexts when set. The Chrome-side logic to enable/disable based on policy+field trials will only be per Profile, and not all NetworkContexts are associated with a profile. Also, this will allow the field trial to work on AndroidWebView, too.
